Today we finished all of the requirements set forth by both the Chinese and U.S. governments, we have Katie's visa, we're ready to come home!
We traveled to the U.S. Consulate this afternoon and took an oath for the U.S. government that basically stated that everything we've told them is true and accurate. The room was full of Americans and their newly adopted children. An American Woman did the ceremony and it truly was incredible. We are so lucky to have been able to have this experience and to be bringing home this beautiful little girl!
I'll attach photos taken at our hotel. One, obviously is of the four baby girls (all dressed in traditional Chinese attire) that the four families in our group are bringing home. From left to right: Sasha (OH), Holly (MO), Abby (CA) and of course Katie! The other are the four new families. We have a special bond and friendship with each family and hope to keep the girls acquainted! We're thinking a vacation in CA may be in order!!!!! :)
We have been instructed to have our luggage ready to be picked up at 6am, we are to be in the van at 6:30! I hope the night goes quickly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
