Today would be a day to stay home during the CNY celebration. It is important to pray for fortune and good health on this day.
I was watching a news report on China the other evening and noticed several people celebrating the CNY with fireworks. This appears to be a very popular way to celebrate in China. It seemed that everywhere you looked, there were firecrackers being set off almost in a chaotic and seemingly dangerous fashion. It kind of put some of the redneck firecrackers I've seen to shame!
