This is the Chinese symbol for ladybug. They are considered to be lucky in China adoptions. As we were preparing lunch on Christmas Day, we watched a ladybug meander across our kitchen floor--not one of those nasty orange bean beetles, this was the real deal! Maybe it was a good sign!

Lucky ladybug!
This is the Chinese symbol for ladybug. They are considered to be lucky in China adoptions. As we were preparing lunch on Christmas Day, we watched a ladybug meander across our kitchen floor--not one of those nasty orange bean beetles, this was the real deal! Maybe it was a good sign!
